Escott Cues
I purchased a set of Soft Jaws from Gary Langley a couple years ago. I was needing a replacement, but sadly I found out Gary has passed away.
The one set is a heavier material. I use it less often. It is good for holding the cue securely like a leather strip with grip, but harder to reduce any runout.
The thinner ones are great in many situations, and I don't have the runout problems. However, I have worn them out and need a replacement.
I am pretty sure I figured out what the heavier ones are made from (Offset Printing Rubber Blanket) and of course don't need those. I haven't figured out what the thin ones are though.
Does anyone know what this material is or an equivalent?
