For Sale is a First Generation Label with Second Generation signature Willie Hoppe cue. Likely dates from 1943-1945 to the best of my knowledge.
Looks like Brazilian Rosewood or Cocobolo. But I don't really know for sure.
Probably the best condition Hoppe cue I have come accross from this era. Even the leather wrap feels good it is not lumpy and thick like many of the others i have seen. This cue could be used as a player as is.
The tube comes with the cue . It does not have its metal lid. It has a sticker that reads union made, United Brotherhood of Carpenters.
District of Muskpson.
Butt 28" 16.16oz
Shaft 28" 3.53oz ferrule at wood 11.8mm at tip 11.3mm
Sold
