Hello, wich one is the more flexible, from the same maple wood and the same dimensions, a 20 pies shaft or a solid maple one?

I use to use the 20 piece flat laminated for break shafts. They hit stiff. I was hoping they would stay straight longer in use for breaking. They didn't.

solid maple is has more flex. A laminated is going to have glue and probably the wood's grains is crisscrossed for added strength/ less flex.

Thank You for answering, I asked this question because I always thought that the laminated was more flexible and some of my friends the opposite, we had a discussion about that....
I have here a flat laminated Schmelke shaft and for the profile he is very whippy, and also I always thought that the 314 shaft was more flexible than a solid maple with the same profile like Mezz do.
Check this little video from Jacoby, their Ultra are made with 140 thin veneer and a lot of glue.

My experience as well. I found they moved more. Cull rate was about 30-40%.
