hiya all, as some have asked me how all was moving, and how things have evolved, ill make this small info post.
first: i got finally payed so i can finaly buy my first gear. Custom cue should be ordered soon (after some finale details), and starter gear is being ordered to play with in the main time. I run into the only pro player in belgium last week, i had to play him with this curved housecue for a 8ball tournament, and he won 3-5 (but could have been 5-3 too) was a tough match. He was very impressed, and it seems his sponser is the shop where i wanted to buy my gear, so he'll be getting some VERY good deals for me.
second; after we talked and i told him i liked his website, he said he needed someone to make him a new website, and as im pritty good at it, we made a deal. he'll be training me for the next year, learning all he knows, giving me a poolclinique and make me into what he thinks i could become. A champion
BEST news i had this year. really looking forward to it, as i normally cant afford this kind of guy. he plays in the euro tour EBPF, and maybe uve seen him in las vegas lately to promote Aramith balls. his name is Gino Vermeersch.
third; as there where no clubs where i live, and i dont have a car, i got introduced to a female player from finland who has been playing there for 14 years in the pro scene, and now is living in brussels. ill be going with her to her club and train. so now ive got a good training partner too and a cheaper club that actually has good tables.
fourth; about the no cue inscident in the national finals, and other problems i posted before about problems in my country, i got in contact with the "Big" guys, and things are starting to move... seems alot of other players are thinking like me and they are fully behind me.
so guess my ball is starting to roll, and ill be playing some greath finals soon and maybe win a tournament ( remember here in belgium we dont have pro A B C D tournaments, its all together.) so starting as a D player 4 months ago, and reaching the final32 in the Pro/A tournament last week without any coatch or gear is already a greath achievement, but i still need to improve if i ever want to win a tournament. hope Gino will get me to that level. people start talking about me, and many are ready to help me still improve faster..
im so happy, and honestly i couldnt have wished for a greather christmas present. my dream is finally starting to come true. im one of the hapiest mans around i think.

now still 3 dreams left:
1/ win pro/A level a tournament
2/ get into the top16 of my country A level
3/ Come to the USA one day, and meet u all, and play some racks with all my idols and friends here over azb.
ps scott, almsot forgot to tell u, might have a chance to work in the Ministry.. if that goes true, ill be earning some VERY big cash. so maybe all my money problems will be over soon. but not chearing yet... still will take some months before im sure ive got it. still got some tests etc to do.
