Some cool cues I saw

This weekend at the APA 8 and 9 ball city Championships in Birmingham Alabama.

A few of the pics I took of cues I liked. I even showed a teammate that I knew loved Joss Cues one and he bought it right away. I thought it was beautiful also.

Sorry the pics are bad as I only had my cell to take these pics. This set was made by David Rowell of Birmingham. If you like his cues let me know and I can pass a number to you. Not sure how they shoot or his wait times, but by holding and looking at his cues, I'd say they could be some top notch photos. Tell me what you think of his cues.

Sorry, I posted his cues in this post and in ones earlier. Sorry for the double post!

Here are the Schons I liked, including the one my teammate bought. The first two pics are his, I'd like to find a model number if anyone knows it. Its the cue in the middle with brown points and orange veneers. Had what looked to be a croc design or lizard design leather wrap that set off all the orange that much more. He bought it as soon as I showed it to him and I probably would have thought about it too:p

The first time I seen the cheap "Medici" line. I guess Meucci just wants to get so bad nobody will buy a cue from them anymore.

Here are some of Birmingham's own David Rowell and the cues he makes. All I can say is WOW:eek: If they hit like they look I might have to give him a call. He had no website listed on his card but does have a phone number. If anyone wants it let me know. He was 2000 U.S. Amateur Champion, 2004 U.S. Amateur Runner-Up, and 2004 Masters Champion. Says he has been building since 1982 and it looks like it. Craftsmanship is A++ in my book. He also has lessons available (not sure if thats on cuemaking or shooting, but I will call and ask).

These pics do him NO justice. I'll try to see if he has an email addy and get more pics.

Here's what I found that I loved. The Cue with the Turqoise was UNREAL!

Here were a few Jacoby Cues that I liked as well. The main one I liked was one that had Blue Wildwood points and Blue Wildwood diamonds on the butt sleeve. Had a black lizard wrap. This was one badass cue! I might have to look into that Blue Wildwood for my next cue. That stuff was sharp!
