Shark has been around quite a while, That stuff stretches like you wouldn't believe. The last one I did about 6 years ago, I cut two inches short on purpose, it fell right in to place.

Vegetable tanned leather would be a lot easier to work with. Veg. tan leather is stiffer and did not stretches as much. Most leather stretches depending on how they treaded from tannery.:thumbup:
