As a plus, during the ring game there were two 8 ball runs, one by Tony Fargo and one by Shannon Daulton.

I'll let Grady give you the 'blow by blow' as he was table side.

Folks, it was absolutely fantastic to be involved with Grady in this event. I am tired and will post more later. Wanted to get these results up for everyone.

Goodnight, Pelican

Will Pay?

Where did Ben Dover finish?

How about I P Standing or Dick Guzinya

Didnt these guys get in? I know Mike Hunt was supposed to play.

What about the poker tournament? Who won that?

Did Grady make any money on this event? I know he said it would be his last (he promised his wife) If he lost money on it?

Hey Pel, you sure the bar table brackets are correct? I don't recall Cliff Joyner getting that far in the bar tables. He left right after he was eliminated by the black guy (I can't remember his name) that played Will Pay for 3rd in the bar tables? At least, that's how I saw it. I don't think Grady lost any money on the tournament. During the end, he was talking to someone, an instructor that was also talking to two of my friends about giving him more money next year and he also stated the bar tables would be limited to only amateurs. I do look forward to next year and playing in the bar box tournament.

Oh yeah, line of the night was Runnels telling Buddy in the bank event, "Buddy, you have enough titles, let me have this one." So funny...

Cliff Placed Third in Bar Table Event

Yea, Cliff placed third, I watched the match between him and Little Sam. I am not sure who the black guy you mentioned is, but it was most likely Joey Barnes from Dallas, TX. Plus Will (or William) Pay is also know as Billy or Cecil Pay.

Will Pay ???

Who is this Will Pay & where is he from? I've never heard of him before. He must be pretty strong to compete in this field! Did he play in any other events and does anyone know what his best game is? Why no pics?

The tournament was a success and a great event but the only one worth playing in was the one pocket. Next time Ray Martin the game is mine.

I don't think anyone got any pictures of him, but he's a chubby guy with big glasses and chews tobacco. Strong player none the less. I only got to see him playing on the bar tables and that he can do quite well.

he's better known as billy pay and he's a hell of a player...you wouldn't think he could drive a ball to the rail by looking at him but don't be fooled...he's more of a gambler than a tournament player i believe
