Where are some places to play around Charleston, South Carolina?
Are there any cuemakers from the Charleston area?

Thanks,
Zim

Zim,

I moved from SC to Tn a while back, so I'm not up on all of the places to play there.

There is a cue maker there named James "Whitey" Spach who made Hurricane cues until a couple of years ago. Presently, the only person in the area that I know who is still building cues is Ben Cooper. Ben worked with Whitey for years, and (I believe) bought alot of his equipment when Whitey quit building cues.

I played with one of Jimmy Reeves' cue for about 2 years. They are great cues.

Jimmy is in Easley, SC, though, and that is upstate near Greenville. It's probably 250-300 miles from Charleston. Mike Gulyassy (Sledgehammer J/Bs, and great custom cues) is in Mauldin, SC. That's next to Greenville as well.
