I got an announcement this week from “The Professor” at SouthernBilliards.com about their upcoming “Non-Tournament”, called the Southern Jamboree, running in Starkville, Mississippi June 29 – July 2.
In the style of the Mad Hatter’s Un-Birthday, there will be no scheduled tournament matches or tournament director to get in the way of folks who aren’t playing in the Jamboree (that isn’t being played) AND want to match up.
So the announcement went out to all the people who like action…”players, stakehorses and railbetters”.

The Professor has asked that if you plan to come to call and sign up. He is also acting as a liason between players and stakes. The Professor runs a first class room and is well known to be a quality guy (and, not incidentally, the father of a couple of real good players). His events tend to draw very well. I predict this will be a lot of fun!
