Would like to see a unified list of local tournaments held in SW Mo on a regular basis. The only practice I get is by playing in these smaller tournaments and right now I'm only aware of a few.
The ones I know about are:
Brew & Cue at Republic, MO. 3 tables
Wed - 8pm - 8 ball, races vary depending upon number of players...
Sat - 3pm - 9 ball, races vary depending upon # of players
My Place, west Battlefield in Springfield 3 tables
Sat - 8:30pm - 8 ball, races vary depending upon # of players
Dennis' - west Sunshine in Springfield - several tables
Sat - 8:30pm - 8 ball, races vary depending upon # of players but usually race to three winners/losers brackets
Everton - "Shaved Beaver" Fri, 7pm very small, very poor 8 ball tourney on one table
Mt. Vernon - Sherry's on the business loop -Mon 7 pm very small tourney on one table, usually one game double-elimination - friendly little bar
I know there must be lots of others that I'm ignorant of and I would like to hear about them here. Please contribute. I hope to be able to go to a tourney 7 nights/days a week (not that I will do that, would just like to have the option).
