Southwest on Ebay

Really nice ones(no dings or dents) seem to be consistantly be doing between $2000 and $2400 depending on wood combinations and rings. This cue really has only one full sized shaft so IMO you gotta knock it for that. I would say the cue will probably bring between 1700 and 1900. I don't think it'll break the $2000 barrier because of the undersized shaft. Just my opinion.

All true, and if you want original, SW didn't do the wrap.

quote from seller:

"This cue was never refinished as far as I know. There are some minor blemishes here and there. I am not sure who did the wrap, it was purchased with the wrap. The wrap job is a very nice job. The leather is flush, no gap anywhere, seamless unless if you look real close. I cannot feel the seam by holding the cue. The wrap is also stained to match with the Alves, which I think is very unique and nice. I wish I could give you more info, but that is all I know.
Thank you so much. "

So very true, Joe. The lizard wrap looks like nice work, but I have to tell you that when you stray from the essence of a cue like this, it ultimately hurts the resale value. It's just fine if you have something like that put on for yourself and that's what you like for play, but if the expectation is that it's going to help resale, it's incorrect. Or at least that's what we've come to understand buying and selling these things for the last 10+ years.

Nice looking Southwest. Pretty much the reverse colors of my own Southwest. I think the description is wrong on one of the veneer colors being green, which I think is a blue from the pics. Could be the lighting.
