I don't think so. I just got one and it doesn't. I think that's what pre-date means, more or less...

My dealer seemed to use the terms "pre-date" and
pre-cactus" interchangeably...but I may be mistaken. Hopefully one of our South West collectors out there can help you out with your question...

it has no whiting on the pin.

the first one that did was the first cue in 1993.

the # on the pin is 301-93

i know who owns it too.......:rolleyes:

I had 308-93 it was the ugliest cue ever, i wasnted to keep it because of the number and Jerry telling me that he was going to keep doing it it wasnt and experment, but I was flipping ALOT of wood back then and sold it, I saw the cue 2 years later in LA a real young kid was playing with it, lights out, I walked up to him and asked if I could see his cue, he got all defensive about how ugly it was but it played good etc. I said "I just want to see the number on the pin" then I told him I bought it brand new. damn that cue was ugly.

ROFL ... Kind of like marrying an ugly woman, hard to look at, but the best stroker you ran across .... LOL :D
