spray booth for clear coat

Been building cues now for 4 years and have used cyno, cue coat, etc. but have yet to try spray. I get no complaints on my present finish but compared to some production cues I have examined, I could do better.
Am considering building or buying a small spray booth for the shop for doing one cue at a time but need to know if I am getting myself involved beyond my comfort level. What kind of spray equipment? Whether to buy the booth or how to build one one. Venting concerns. And so on.

Hit up the search feature, many have made theirs.
 
Spray booth

Grizzley sells a couple of nice ones.....Check them out....It's not that hard once you get over the first few cues.....hope this helps ....Ray
 
You can build a custom booth for next to nothing.
Depends on what you want.
The bigger concern would be where you live.
Do you live in town or out in the country?
Farmers have a 'license to kill', poetically speaking.
By rights, you can't afford to shoot finish in town.
Not unless your best-bud owns a body shop.

3k for a spray booth is a BIT much for MY budget...
