Andy Quinn is pretty much the best player. However, Jerry Terbrock is a close second, with maybe Larry Luttman in 3rd, and then Joe Wooford if he is still playing.
The best place for action is The Break in East St. Louis. However, if you are looking for "cheaper" action then you can get that at almost any room. However, if you want to gamble in St. Louis you pretty much have to play one pocket. The guys I mentioned will gamble in 9-ball but after them almost no one will play for any SERIOUS money in 9-ball.

outside of the stl area, about 90 miles west...martin warren in Rolla, MO is always up for road 9 ball action. along w/some players from the lake area.
