hey shawn, i have a question on the basic stance. sometimes i feel i am in line with my shot and pocket and play well. really i play at a whole another level. then other times i feel a little out of line. i try walkin in to the shot, putting my feet certain ways, whatever. i just cant seem to get comfortable.
my question is do you have a certain way getting down to your stance and knowing you are perfectly in line for a shot or just go by feel. i have even heard of people say if thier heel is in line with the shot they know they will make the ball. any help or ideas you have are apprechiated.

Your body should be faceing at a 45 degrees away from your line of aim.
pretty much a fighting stanse so you are balanced.
Say your down on the ball. lift your head up a little and look down through the stick. focus on the floor below your cue and the cue will become transparent. One foot should be on the left side of the cue and one on the right. EQUAL DISTANCE.
Try that and give me a ring back.
BE CAREFUL WHO YOU LISTEN TO.
Charlie Bryant can also help you alot.
By the way , HAPPY BIRTHDAY..........................

Thanks for the help. but the part im having trouble with is the feet being equal distance. it seems to me when i do this the cue is to close to my body and cant stroke right. am i doing something wrong?
