first off let me say i think its really cool the way chuck is letting this cue make its rounds so people can try it out. Im not going to go into how the cue looks, chuck now pretty much only offers merry widows or if you want points he uses a chris hightower blank....he doesnt do inlay work now or anything like that, so its moot.
First off let me say im not a cue collector....ive owned probably less than 10 over the last 20 years. Someone described this cue as "neutral", but it sure doenst feel that way to me. It seems like a real forward weighted cue. When i got it, i thought it must weigh at least 21oz or more....i was shocked when i put it on my scales and it was like 19.2 (i think per chuck its 19.5). When you pick up my schon, and this cue, youd never know they were within a 1/2 oz of each other, anyway i digress. I think it was jay who said you just point this cue and it does all the work, and thats an excellent way to put it. Ive never moved a cueball around so easily with a cue. The giant woodpin makes it really feel like a 1 piece stick, i cant say enough good things about how this cue hits. Ive already started talking to chuck about building me one....you might want to get on the list to try it out if youre looking for something different.
