starter tip lathe

I guess I'm kind of looking for someone that would like to do their own tips and doesn't want to invest in a full cue lathe.

That being said, I have the taig pieces for a starter lathe. Looking to see it there's interest. I don't use it anymore and
it's kind of in the way.

The pieces that are shippable are a taig bed, taig head stock with the spindle bored to take a shaft through and a taig
carriage/cross slide.

I have a couple motors too but I don't know they would be worth the shipping cost. One is a motor off a small band saw
in a plywood box, the other a motor from taig mounted on a piece of plywood.

As far as steady rests for behind the headstock for doing tips and in front for spinning shafts, I made them from plywood
and cheap bearings. Not sure they'd be of interest. Guess I like plywood.

If anyone is interested and wants pictures let me know. I'm looking for 200 for the bed, headstock and carriage plus the shipping.

Couple pics a user asked me to post.

Normal taig bed, about a foot I guess.

Was talking to another member and we came to the conclusion that you could be these 3 pieces new for around 280 so an old one for 200 for one that is around 20 years old is probably not such a good deal. You'd just have to get the spindle bored out on the new one.

I'll probably just figure out something else to do with it, maybe someone local will want to take it with the other parts and do their own tips. Or maybe I'll set it up for tips and save the wear and tear on the bigger one for when I need it.

If you want to burn it, I'd pay free plus shipping. I'm broke lol.
