I live in whatcom county washington and looking for 9 ball tournys north of seattle.:)

Have you talked to 'krbsailing' here on AZ? He is the proprietor of The Village Pub & Eatery up in Bellingham. He is often running both 9 and 8 Ball tournaments. If you PM him your interest, I am sure he will let you know when he is having his next one.

Also, if you can find a copy of The Break, there is listed all the weekly tournaments on just about the entire West Coast. I am pretty sure there is still a weekly 9 Ball tournament in the Everett area.

Unfortunately, once you get north to the Skagit Valley to Whatcom County, all you are going to find for weekly tournaments is 8 Ball, but all have generally a $500+ 9 Ball Break Pot. Open 8 Ball tournaments, weekly, can be found as follows:

Friday 8pm - Oak Harbor Legion
Saturday 8pm - Oak Harbor Legion
Saturday 8pm - The Overflow, Sedro Woolley
Sunday 6pm - Alger Bar & Grille
Monday 7:30-8pm - Cues-N-Brews, Sedro Woolley

All of the above have players that have great talent, and are pretty hard-core.

There used to be a weekly 9 Ball tournament at the poolhall in Mt Vernon, but it has since closed down. Occasionally, there is a 9 Ball tournament held at Cues-N-Brews in Woolley, but it more of an Invitational, and not generally open. You need to contact Jim or Jerry Meiers @ C-n-B (360-855-2263), or Jim Davenport, to see about a possibility of getting invited in.

I have playing regularly in this area for the better part of 10 years now, and have at one time or another been a regular participant in all of the above listed. There is some pretty good action around here, you just gotta know where to look for it.

Hope this helps!! :)

If you ever make it down to North King County I know of several weekly 9-ball tournaments. Hit me up if you do.
