I stopped by this room the other day for the first time. I looked in, noticed how spacious it was, and that it had Diamond tables, not to mention a kitchen. Sad to say, I also learned it was CLOSED DOWN. After only 3 to 4 months. It was on the Joss schedule for next month, I think.

Anybody know the story?

I will have to ask Mike Zuglan if he knows anything about it. i Know that the house pro was suppose to be Teddy Garahan but Teddy told me at the Joss Finale that he was no longer working there. Some kind of falling out i guess. Will be sad if it does close...............................................mike

All I can tell you, Mike, is that I stepped in to ph because the doors were open -- it was 5 p.m. Saturday, which was supposed to be opening time. But nobody was around, then I heard a guy in the background who was cleaning up say, "Can I help you?" And he told me the place had closed down. I should've got more details, but I was running late and kind of bummed and shocked at the same time.

Shame, seems like a great location, in the historic downtown, with parking as well. I wonder if either they spent too much and couldn't make the nut, or maybe some other unforeseen financial problem hit them.

I hung around at this room a couple of times when it first opened. One of the best pool rooms I have ever seen. And some of the best food too. (They had a culinary chef.) Unfortunately they weren't getting the business needed to stay afloat and their closing was only a matter of time. :(
