Stolen cues in Taiwan at the WPC

I'm writing this in hopes that someone at the WPC in Taiwan will see it. There is a person there selling, what started out as, 7 brand new Padgett cues. Some may have been sold by now. The person wrote a check for the cues when he picked them up, promptly put a stop payment on the check, then left to Taiwan. He did speak to Tim once long enough to tell him that he wasn't paying for the cues because Tim overcharged him. As an example of the "overcharging", he cited a $20/tip price on some Moori tips that he requested to have put on the cues (I didn't know the going rate was so much cheaper  ). Tim offered to take the cues back, but the person refused to send them back, and basically said, "sorry, I can't do that". The only reason I am giving all of these details is because, if someone were to see the person selling the cues, and the fact that they are stolen were to come up, I would like whoever runs into this guy to know the truth. Whatever the guy says, make no mistake, the cues are stolen. The police have already been contacted, but obviously, if the cues could be retrieved quickly, that would be better than having to wait for the system to run its course. I will post again soon with the name of the person who stole the cues, as well as descriptions of the cues. I'm not sure if Tim took any pictures of the cues before "selling" them, but if he did, I'll try to get them so I can post them too.

Thanks for taking the time to read this,

Jimmy

I'll get in touch with Bob G., one of the commentators in WPC, some Filipino Players and my Taiwanese distributor and have them keep an eye and ears open for thos cues and person. Also, go to Matchrom sports Forums and get the word out to posters there. I hope this pans out.
