Tommy, there is a straight pool league at Stix on Dixie Hwy and Frembes in Waterford. The regular league night is Wednesday. They just started back up last night establishing handicap. You might want to check it out.

I don't play on the league, but here is the way I understand it: The league establishes a rating for each person. Let's say a 80 rated player is matched up against a 40 rated player. The weaker rated player gets 90% of his rating to start and then they play to the higher players rating. In the above example the weaker player would start on 36 points and the game would be played to 80 points.
Two players with a 50 rating would start even and play to 50 points.
