Stun-run-thru with video

This is one of couple of shots that I seemed to get asked about quite a bit in the club so I thought I would do a quick vid of my thoughts on the stun-run-through. It's my favourite shot to play when it goes right. This is an advanced shot but can be mastered with a little practice and when it works it looks cool too

Man, that first 8-10 foot shot made me a believer. Holy cow.

Yeah the stun and run is all feel for sure.

Since you play snooker, is it safe to say that the majority of the shots made in snooker are with a center cue ball.

Thanks John, although with a lot of the shots you try to stay on center ball there are still plenty with varying amounts of english. Break building around the black you often use a touch L or R and plenty of the long safeties and "shots to nothing" use heavy english to swing to CB round the angles.

Nice shooting.

I generally run through a bit farther than I really want with the bigger & heavier balls. One, because I don't want to mis in the opposite direction & two, the range of options to hit the CB is of a greater distance giving the illusion of more options, even though they just require moving the tip over a greater distance for each option.

I hope I explained that well enough to convey my meaning.
