For sale is a stunning early Joss West cue with 8 points, custom joint protectors and an ostrich grain black leather Fellini case. Delrin butt with strong JW logo. All white above the butt cap is ivory - butt has large diamonds and alternating drill bit inlays with red stained wood accents. Wrap is black and white specked cortland. Forearm is heavily figured BEM with 8 ebony points with matching diamond and drill bit ivory inlays with consistent red accents and tipped with ivory dots. ABC thin dash rings and the customary early Joss West DE thicker dash rings. Custom JP's included. Shafts are original JW with ivory ferrules and just under 13mm tips. Slight play on Shaft #1 and little to no play on Shaft #2.
Condition of this cue is near mint. No chips/dings/dents. Wrap is outstanding with little wear. Cue rolls straight together and apart with only slight roll-out of the shafts (tips stay on the table) - as you would expect a vintage JW that is 45 years old or so. Fellini case is in excellent condition with ostrich grain embossed black leather.
Cue is 57 5/8" long excluding the butt bumper, shafts are 29" long and the butt 28 3/8" excluding the bumper. I will post the weight of the cue this weekend along with more pics.
I realize I have no transactional history with A2Z and am more than happy to use a trusted intermediary. Buyer will not be disappointed with this cue. No matter how good the pictures are, this cue is truly sensational in your hands. Plays great as well.
