Stupidity

You've heard that the definition of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome.
But if one is inclined, it at least shows an ability for consistency.
So look at it on the bright side if this describes you:
If you perfect shot execution, most likely you can expect perfect outcomes.

You mean like your posts? :p

Lotta time the experts aren't even cognizant of the intended results much less the progress. Teachers often just apply what they "know" as improvements; oblivious to the continuum in question. Most artists (and autists) and craftsmen work in private.

Einstein said that, about insanity. I keep buying lotto tickets.

Not true.

The famous quote, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results," is widely misattributed to Albert Einstein; there's no evidence he ever said or wrote it, with sources tracing it to Narcotics Anonymous pamphlets and novels like Rita Mae Brown's Sudden Death (1983), appearing years after Einstein's death in 1955.

I believe that's correct there's no evidence of Einstein having ever said that. But there's even a reference of that type going back to the 19th century referring to repetition for. It's one of those things that a common person could say as an original thought, even though it's been said before.

I remember the Beatles once being accused of plagiarizing music. It's funny when they were actually confronted about it they admitted to having plagiarized it except not to the one making the accusation. They showed that they had actually taking it from something about 100 years old.

They did however lose a plagiarism suit I believe to Chuck Berry.
I was going by memory so I went and looked this up. And while I think it was John Lennon who lost the lawsuit had to pay like one and a half million he actually hadn't plagiarized it.

The judge made a finding that he may have subconsciously done it because he heard the music before and not realizing what he was writing wasn't original.

If you watch late night talk shows I usually watch them on YouTube cuz all I want to see is the opening monologue. You'll find on any given day they'll do virtually the same jokes about the same subject matter because the joke is somewhat obvious.
