Wow that is some of the best shaftwood I have ever seen. Must be at least 2o grains per inch on those.

Congrats to whoever has the pleasure of buying this gorgeous cue. I owned the other Texas Ebony cue and the specs were very similar. It was one of the most solid hitting cues I have ever played with. Awesome cue!!!

If I can get the $$$ together before this cue sells, I'll buy it... I'll stay in touch Kai

Never heard of TX ebony. Where in Texas does it grow. I've always thought that Mesquite would make for nice points as well, but normally it has a bit of sand inclusion from what I have been told. I also think that blackjack might be neat.

Deep southwest Texas and northern Mexico. It is not a very large tree, so good quality cue sized squares are not easy to come by, but sometimes they can be found. But, even at an exotic wood place in Texas, you might only find scraps and bowl blanks. I am fortunate to have some squares that will make it into cues one day.

Hi Poolschool..
Sure... I hope you get this cue as well.. I know how much you loved your old cue... you will not be disappointed.

Cheers.

Someone buy this cue... I want it but there is no way I can afford it right now. I don't know who I'm kidding :)

The price is very justifiable taking a fraction of things into consideration...

Eric has built a reputation for building solid playing cues. His waiting list is 2-3 years out.

Kai, were all 3 shafts built by Eric? If so I would value the shafts alone at $6-700.

Micarta ferrules??? Cmon this stuff is getting harder to come by every day.

This is truly a unique cue with a lot of class. Even though it may look simple I know Eric put a ton of time into making this cue. Someone will be getting a hell of a cue! Seriously!!!

as a SUGARTREE OWNER, I would have to say you are either starving or a moron for selling it :D :D :D .....Just playing with ya....... that is a great looking cue, and from speaking with Eric and Playing with his cues I know for a fact this thing must hit like a MONSTER.

I really was playing with the Moron comment, but as Poolschool said because of Erics eye for wood and his " handpicking " shaft wood I would too agree the shafts alone are worth 6-700 dollars.

GOOD LUCK ON YOUR SALE.......And if you were to accidently go Insane or something, Just send me the cue and I will make sure it always has a warm bed to sleep in   ;) ;) :D :D

God, if I didn't have a Coco/koa from Eric nearing completion, I'd be all over this one like a fat kid on a cup cake....can't wait for mine. Good luck on the sale Kye
