Suggestions/Pics for new custom cue...

I was talking to Skip Weston about making a new custom for me. I talked to him about creating a four point cue w/amboyna burl points into a BEM forearm and amboyna buttsleeve. However, I'm having trouble thinking of ideas for the veneer colors. Any suggestions or pics anyone might have would be incredibly helpful. Generally I'm into classic styled/traditional color schemes. I'm honestly just not sure what would look good with amboyna burl points. Thanks in advance to any who respond.

Ditto for me, too...natural, orange, green, black is an all time classic and would look great in a four pointer amboyna into BEM. Another approach is to do a phased color scheme (pick your favorite color), for example, natural, light blue, dark blue, black or natural, light green, dark green, black, etc. Makes the points look deep without too much busy color combos. Probably a red or orange color phase would work best with amboyna, depends on the stain. Would then be helpful to put that same color somewhere in the butt for balance, either a mitered box or a ring or a inlaid veneer in a barbell/"I" shape between your other inlays...
