Does anyone have a good Cue-Tech that can change a 5-16/14 pin to a titanium 3/8-11 pin and take a little weight out of a cue. I need one who can do it quick and affordable. Thanks

If you have not got any responses it might be because some interpret "quick and affordable" to mean fast and cheap.

I once read in a auto garage that they "do work three ways."
"Good, Fast and Cheap!"
Good and fast won't be cheap!
Fast and cheap won't be good!
Cheap and good won't be fast!

What kind of cue is it?
How many shafts?
Do the shafts have piloted joints?
Do you want them to still be piloted?
How much weight are you hoping to drop?
Which of the above three methods do you want the cuemaker to use? :)

Well it is an espiritu cue w/ 1 shaft. I want 2 drop anywhere from from a 1/2 ounce too 3/4 maybe an 1 ounce if possible. I dont really know what all 3 of the methods of weight reduction are. Please let me know. Thank you.

I was referring to the three ways of having it done:
Good and fast won't be cheap!
Fast and cheap won't be good!
Cheap and good won't be fast!

There were a couple of more questions to answer in order for cuemakers to calculate a price.

Do the shafts have piloted joints?
Do you want them to still be piloted?
In other words do you want the cue to have a flat faced joint?
And does it now?

try to take the weightbolt and bumper out first. that will give you a better idea. if you like it glue the bumper in with rubber cement

i already did. I have a hoppey butt and the screw in it is only like an inch or 1 1/2 inches long.

Since it's an Espiritu, the quickest way to drop 1 oz of wght. would be to swap-out the SS jnt. collar for phenolic. If you're someone who really likes a big chunk of shiny metal in the middle of your cue then swap-out the SS steel for alum.
Aluminum is the one metal that 'hits' closer to wood than any other.
That's why Dufferin used it.

tap....tap....
