Hey guys any of you tried this brand before? I recall an internet picture of one and its red? What would the hardness be compared to let's say a Triangle? I love the Triangles, but these Sumo's look interesting. Are they suitable for a playing cue?

Thanks!

I just installed my first Sumo tip .. and will be changing all my tip to this this week. I like a hard tip and this is the hardest I could find . Excellent feedback and more than enough action... Would recommend to try !!

The Sumo is much harder than a Triangle or Lepro. I use it for breaking and jumping, but would not like it for normal play. I sell a good bit of Sumo's and was one of the first dealers for them in the USA.

Hi, Chris
I've been through many threads and seen many of ur posts with a lot of great info, but that link in ur signature...i can't ever get into ur website for some reason. It always says Gateway Timeout after maybe 5 minutes of waiting. Any idea why? Thanks for the reply regarding the Sumo tips by the way. I'm just trying to decide whether i should even bother trying them as playing tips, cuz i have an Andy jump/break (Chao Fong-Pang) with one piece phenolic ferrule/tip so i don't need tips for jumping or breaking.

Thanks.

Tim.

I like the way that the Sumos play. Very consistant, hold chalk OK, love you long time, er, last you long time...nice price.

See this thread though
