It is not often that someone would post up pictures of shafts, but, in this case I had to.

About 8 months ago I placed an order with Bob Runde for three shafts that would be a direct replacement for the old R series Schons with the stitch rings.

These R series shafts are getting near impossible to find in nice condition and a source for new ones was something I have been looking for a while now. I thought whom else would be better than the originator and I was not disappointed in what was shipped.

Bob does great work! I have 3 shafts for my Runde cue and they are all dead straight and perfect and play fantastic with those micarta ferrules. Love his taper too, have never felt as comfortable with a cue as I do my Runde with the 12mm shaft he made for me.

Yup, got em. All three were dead straight, same diameter and exactly the same weight. You literally couldn't tell one from another. I was extremely impressed.
 
LOL I sold the cue that I had the shaft made...lol I guess it is an excuse to buy another R series one day.

Interestingly, this shaft will not fit my Tasc., the tread pitch must be different as it was with the old Schons of the 80's.
