Gorgeous! With a case that nice, I'd have put all the butts forward to showcase and keep the shafts in the back. Either way, great piece!

first of all - i highly doubt if anyone has ever made such a case before , secondly you might find some off shoot cases from china , or else where which are made of plastic which carry about 1 butt and 1 shaft for around 200 or 250 odd dollars , mcdermott for a while made such cases , but with only 1 butt and 1 shaft , which retailed around 350 to 400 dollars. a few custom cue makers tried there hand at it and put out at the most 5 cue display cases , when compared to all that this is ofcourse a rarity and the very fact that the amount of time and work and not to mention the design idea , which has gone into it makes it - i am sure if not a blockbuster - but atleast a good 4.5 out of 5 , nothing in life is perfect - but we can try , and what we have here is a combination of love , talent and constant pushing by me to get a product that will last easily if taken care of forever, out to the appriciating pool community which knows a good product when they see one , i just hope that the effort is not wasted. Based on the first few hours of it being here - the response has been good to very good , I just hope that it sell for 550 , so that i can continue to employ thisgreat master craftsman who is a skilled artist and pay myself a little.

NICE CASE TAKING ORDERS WITH DIFFERENT WOOD STAIN OPTIONS MIGHT SPARK SOME INTEREST.....GOODLUCK WITH SALE

Actually, lots of people have made similar nice wood cases here in the US. It's basic cabinet design, nothing tricky here. Check the archives on this site and you will find several, some more fancy too.

The McDermott piece was decent, but not as solid as yours. I paid $50 for mine 5 years ago.

That being said, your case is still very nice, and would be a great addition to any home or hall!

if you can get me anything close to this for lets say - forget 50 or 100 bucks , lets talk about 200 or 300 bucks - i will buy atleast 10 from you , call me when you come up with all wood - now remember - i am not taking about cheap china plastic , and also you see that epoxy glass on top there - that is about 45 times stronger than regular glass and can take quite a blow - that glass costs around 80 dollars by itself , so please pray - be so kind to find me something similar - i will sign multiple contracts with you and you be my main go to guy from now on, such a case takes a carpenter atleast quite a few hours of hard labor to put together. Also do you not see how those shaft holes have been cut at the bottom and top to make that butt and shaft stand as striaght as possible , i know how many hours and dedication went into it, if you can i repeat if you can find me something similar to this - not overseas crap , but made right here in usa , and not by machine , then call me , i will place multiple orders from you.

What is "epoxy glass" ?????

I know epoxy glass resin boards are used for circuit boards and such, but never heard of epoxy glass that is clear.

Do you mean "tempered glass" ??

Thanks...

From the label in the picture, it is Optix acrylic sheet. It is expensive stuff, but not as expensive as the OP says. A 3' x 6' piece is about $100 at Home Depot. This cabinet would use something less than half that much, so let's call it $50 per door, with some acrylic to waste.

The web site of the manufacturer of Optix says that for a .250" thickness it is about 9-10 times more impact resistant than "wire glass or other glasses." The thickness used in the pictured cabinet appears to be .220." So the OP is way off with his statement that it is 45 times stronger than glass. Perhaps that was just a typo on "4-5" rather than an intentional "45."

Let's just assume the OP was given the wrong information by someone else and didn't check it himself. It looks like a nice cue cabinet.

It also occurs to me that the OP might have been told the material is "plexiglass" and he thought he heard "epoxy glass."
