He may be the only one who can answer that question. I think he will announce it if he does, but then again why bother, just stay home and go fishing and enjoy life.
Top tier pool playing has to be a drain on the body, mentally, emotionally and physically draining. If he is I cheer him on, life is short.
Ak Guy...I could not agree more! In fact, I believe that attitude is one of the things that helps the great ones, to be great. It is important to have pool in the right perspective...compared to other responsibilities in life...and the need to get away at times.
I just haven't seen SVB's name in many tournaments lately so I thought I would ask.
Seems like he's in a position where either he or his sponsors are picking his spots. Good for him. He should do what he wants or do what will put him in position to do what he wants quickest.
if i'm not mistaken he did the same thing last year where you had random player in the running for MC then towards the end he clinches the spot.
I too admire his time off moments, and as mentioned before he's apparently smart with his money so chasing down events is not as important as it may be for other players.
