I have been thinking lately about the role a swing coach in golf plays with the good golfers and wondering if the same concept might work well in pool.
To take my game to the next level, I don't really need help making balls or learning how to play the game, I can play great and I can usually turn it around and get in stroke if things aren't going well. It's not unusual for me to string racks of 8 ball or 9 ball. BUT...I need some guidance to take it a notch higher. But not exactly an instructor in the way I think of an instructor....maybe someone who knows my game well, has played at the highest levels and who can just help me get my head right.
Does anybody know of any instructors/coaches who do this and what they do? Also, if there are any in the Bay Area, I'd like to talk with them.
