Switch among 4 favorite playing cues?

I've accumulated several different cues that I really enjoy playing with. They are each unique in their own way, stiff shaft, firm hit, softer hit, different balance points and slight weight differences. Kind of like your own 4 kids, you love them all but they each have distinct traits and personalities. :p

Will switching among several cues affect your level of play? Maybe change your rate of improvement over the longer run? Are we better off choosing a #1 player and let the rest sit idle?

I don't know ...

Do you think screwing 4 women once a week is better than 1 woman 4 times
a week? Which one will improve your sex life the most? Personally, I think
one playing cue (and woman) that you know, feels right, and that you like a lot is better than 4, but that is just my opinion. (unless she doesn't give head, then go with the 4 ... lol)

IMHO I believe that a constant switching of cues has a negative effect on your improvement and the way you "learn" the game. Since the cues all hit differently, learning the effects of english and speed on all shots will be different. Many cues today have different feels to them which include hit, balance and the shafts for each cue may have a different taper to them. Stick with the cue that feels the most natural to you, meaning which one feels best balanced in your hands and which hit feels best to you when you play. I know guys out there with 5-6 different cues and they never get better because they're always trying to adjust to a new cue. The quicker you adapt to your cue the better, this way instead of learning how the cue hits you can now focus on the reaction of the cue ball.
