Table needs to be leveled every night

Watching the Galveston World Classic streams, I have seen the table needing to be leveled every night.

What would cause a Diamond to have to be leveled so many times?

Tonight's match between Gabe and Scott, the levels didn't come out, but both commentators and I could see a roll. This is after it was just leveled from a complaint from Shannon last night. Table was leveled the night before last too.

Commentators are always commenting on how dry the table is playing.

Can trained personnel set up Diamonds correctly, or will a Diamond only play "correct" if the master mechanic RKC sets it up? :wink:

Diamond has there mechanic hauling and setting up the tables...glen has worked with diamond to train mechanics.... new carpet just installed would be a issue.....yes freshly set up table will settle because of the massive weight...I like to have the slates set on table for a day or so on a table that has been in storage because of that reason before covering with cloth to assure workmanship because it can and will happen to any table that has not settled or has been taken down n set up over and over..there is a solution

these are Diamond Proams? are the balls rolling into the table or out? both sides or only one needing adjustment? They are playing on thick carpet? just curious

I find these tables to be most level-able table I've worked on. Sometimes they do adapt to there new climates and will need to be releveled.

Yes they are ProAms. The roll is rolling into the middle, or away from the rails. Shannon Daulton's match had a roll on the short foot rail where you rack the balls. While practicing for his match against Efren, he noticed the roll from One pocket hole to One pocket hole. Rolling away from the rail.

Scott and Gabe's match had a role on the long foot rail, right hand side near the One pocket hole. Rolling away from the rail.

They are playing on Carpet. Not sure how thick. Here is a picture of the table from JCIN = TAR representative.

If one needs to be leveled every night, do they ALL????????????

if the table is rolling that bad and has been releveled that many times ....
well someone messed up ....got in a hurry or something
it happens ........just sadly its on the main table
just my opinion (and thats worth almost 2 cents)
