Im looking for some opinions from mechanics on Rasson Ox or Victory 2 tables and Black Crown 2's. I would prefer a Diamond but am looking at availability in Canada and installers in Canada
 
Rasson, who would install it? There are limited people who work on them here. I would assume it would be tougher there!

Find yourself a Gold Crown to restore or buy one and have it freighted in. Wait time on everything is ridiculous!

There is a place out of Quebec that sells and installs Rasson i believe. As for a Gold Crown I dont think ive ever seen one in person i my part of the country. Not sure how popular they are in other parts of Canada either. Whats the pocket size on a gold crown? I would like a 4.5 at the most.

I happen to restore Gold Crowns and we offer lots of neat options! Our newest feature on our Gold Crown restorations: we are pairing up the new standard pro cut pocket dimensions MOST commercial manufacturer's are using with what we are calling "Pro Cut Slate", on our Brunswick GC, Anniversary and Centennial restoration projects. We are having new slate cut with a much deeper pocket shelf than the factory Brunswick slate and a complimentary down angle on the rails, to coincide with the deeper slate shelf. We have experience with Internationally freighting tables. I can also help you locate someone to install it! PM me if you would like to arrange for a phone call to discuss further! :)

Thanks im still in the research stage on what to buy and the cost. Im hoping by spring to be able to pull the trigger.

Whats the average going rate for a restored gold crown with the procut style 4.5 pockets?

I'm in NB. One of my friends bought a Rasson OX last year and it was installed and set up by my friend at Recreation+. He's done most of the big brands, You can reach him at drew@recreationplus.ca - he has some used tables in stock I believe.
