Table Question

I just bought a new house that I'm closing on pretty soon. While I don't have the funds quite yet, I'm exploring the possibility of getting a table. Unfortunately, the only room that has sufficient space for a nine-footer is the garage. So, to all of you owners out there, how feasible is it to have a table in a Florida garage? I'm not sure how humidity and temperature swings can affect a table and/or the cloth. Any input is appreciated

where is your a/c unit ( air handler) located?

I live in the Tampa bay area, and the house we just moved from had the air handler hanging in the garage. A simple install of two registers, one in the intake side, and one in the feel side resulted in excellent a/c in the garage that did not affect the rest of the house. Carpeting the floor, and a little styrofoam insulation and you are set.

The new house now has the table in the living area.

Oh hey, good idea. Yes, the air handler is suspended in the garage just like yours. Thanks for the input. If I may ask, did your electric bill go through the roof now that you're cooling your garage 24/7?
