Was in Philly last week and spent a few hours at Tacony-Palmyra Billiards. A great old-time, blue-collar room with a 50's feel to it, and probably 20 tables in use on a weekday afternoon, with only a couple of bangers. Wish we had something like this in the DC area...
 
That place was a great action room when I checked it out a few years back (maybe 5 or 6). The first room I ever went to that had bleachers for sweating the action........G

Yep, Tacony is a great action room. Lots of 1P and back pocket games going. They used to have a Tuesday night 9-ball tourny and at any time you'd see Bustamente or Efren running a couple racks of rotation.

Haven't been there in a couple years and since the new owners took over.
