Tad Layered Tips - Medium

I've used em and love them.. I had no trouble adjusting personally.. I got a couple from Jeff Olney..

I've never seen them other than the ones that I received..
 
I tried a medium Tad about 10 years ago. It was rock hard... more like a break tip than a playing tip. JMO. IIRC, it had 2 layers.

The new Tad tips are a lot different than the old ones. The new ones are by far the best relatively hard layered tip I have tried. They hold chalk really well and don't glaze over unless you really abuse it.
 
I have used the TAD hard layered tip, it hits very consistent. I like it a lot. I have no problem moving the rock with those tips. I generally use a hard tip, so its just what I'm used to. My friend has TAD medium layered tips on his shafts for his cue, it plays alright. I don't hit with his cue often, but it seems consistent. I just had a set of the TAD medium layered tips put on one of my cues, but I haven't hit with it.

I'm glad you asked this question.. I just picked up a Tad and wanted to see what folks think of his tips.... I haven't played with it yet as am working but will let you know something after a hit a few racks with it..
