Talisman WB tip issue

I just attempted to put this tip on a stick and I had two of them fall apart on me.
Both tips did the same thing. The layers separated when I was cutting them.

The customer brought these to me so I don’t know how old they are or how they were stored. I was told they just got them from Mueller this past weekend.
I am pretty sure I have put this tip on before w/o any issues.

So the question is:
Are these crap tips? Is this an install issue/cut issue? Is it likely that these tips were old and or not stored properly?

Same issue here, three times. You can wet the side with glue before cutting them.

Try Kamui or Moori. They are 100 time better.
