Tampa Tournament Announcement

Hey Mr Doug what were the payouts?

How do you get the people to come out so early?

Looks like you will be getting the old gang that used to play in Dan Lavoie's tournament at Fat Cats in Mt Dora before he sold it.

Should be good. A chance to play Ray and Buddy for only $25. They usually don't play sets that cheap. LOL

Is there a calcutta?

I forgot to list Dan's name in the field. There isn't a calcutta (yet). The players come out early because they love to compete and the tournament is well run. Last month we had 26 players and started at 1:00 p.m. and were finished by 8:30 p.m.
I paid six places and the payouts for 26 players (one woman and one youth @ $20 entry) was:
1st $320
2nd $210
3rd $110
4th $65
5th $30
6th $30

Jake spake:
Did you forget that the 27th is Easter Sunday?
Jake

No, I didn't forget, but I'm not the one that schedules the tournament. The last Sunday of the month just happened to fall on Easter. I don't know how I'm expected to run a 12 hour tournament and still go to church, have my Easter egg hunt, take the Barbarachnid (my creepy-scary, red-headed, blood-sucking, spider-wife) to the Easter Parade in her bonnet and eat my big chocolate bunny rabbit..
Of course, it's been my experience that poolplayers don't care WHAT day a tournament is on, they just want to play...imo
(you coming over to play ?)

If I did, it would surely be the very last time I ever played. Or did anything ever again.

My wife is not as thoughtful, loving, forgiving as yours.

Thus spake Jake
