Taom Fusion Tip - Not Recommended!

This tip came as default on a 12.5mm CF shaft.
It’s said to be hard at the center and softer on the sides, and it is, you can actually feel that when pressing your thumb fingernail in to the side and center of the tip.
It also grabs the Taom V10 chalk very well and is easier to chalk than other tip I’ve tried.
The tip also plays very well.

So why is it not recommended?
Well, it doesn’t hold shape at all!
After every session it mushroomed and got flattened. After 3 sessions of reshaping it back to dime shape, I have no tip left and I have to cut ot off and put a new tip…
I guess it’s G2 time 😁

So, the Taom Fussion is a good tip, just doesn’t last.
Maybe it’s better on a snooker cue or smaller diameter shaft where flatter tip still works OK.
