This is gonna be a big post and most likely a long thread by its end...reader beware.

The table is a Gandy Big G.
9' (are they all?).
860 installed by myself and friends....all of us inexperienced. We also put the table together (inexperienced in that department as well).
The table has been up since last fall and is now in its first summer in my none temp regulated garage.

I'm gonna list things (issues) as the occur to me,not by matter of importance.

I need a few, maybe 5 or so, of the things the rail bolts go into...they look like washers, but are held with screws and the center is threaded to receive the bolt...I have no idea what they are called? Availability?

I have one side pocket "holder" that is busted. That is to say the metal casting that the pocket hangs from which is supposed to bolt to each long rail....what are my chances of finding one of these?

Also,we used bondo on the seams which over all worked well, but now when a ball is stopping right at the seam sometimes there is a little turn...a noticable little break as it stalls. This a new development and its not horrible but its not perfect .Temp swing related? What are my options for repair??

Also we got the rails ok,but we butchered the "look" in some of the pockets felt wise.Is there an online extuctional vid for rail covering?

If I pulled all my rails and sent em to RKC (or someone as qualified) for covering, what would that cost?

One more thing comes to mind, but it doesn't effect play. The side boards are busted.I mean busted in half.I knew this when I bought it,but have yet to repair...actually replace them.

I have the old busted boards (they are supposed to run from corner to corner long table and hide the pockets, slate ect) and I was gonna just try to piece em up and get a measurment.I'd rather have the real specs for this though. Is there an online option for all specs related to the Gandy Big G?

More to come I'm sure...

I should add the overall play is better then anything in my local PH ...so I don't mean to dog the table as a whole.......we did a pretty good job for noobs and spent many hours from start to finish (perhaps 30 ) putting it together....its 97% of the way there playability wise.

It was 100% before the seams started showing some ball movement.

The nut plates for the rails and aprons are the same so maybe you can switch them around so that you have all the good ones being used for the rails and the striped ones for the aprons.

As far as the joints go re-level the slates/re-do the joints and make sure the slates are screwed down tight. Alot of the time the joint material will move or pop because of slight movement of the slates over time.

Those castings are available online but are costly. I think those aprons are 9/16, you will have to measure the ones you have and make those because I doubt you will find any specs online for them.

If you feel you have done a good job the first time than the second time doing it will be easier and will more than likely be beter than the first time you set it up.

I have a lot of Gandy parts in storage from stripping several of mine down for parts last summer, so may be able to help out with some of it.
Send me some pics of your table and let's see what we can do-
Depending upon the table, would determine if I have in the parts for it or not.
I have corner castings, all nuts/bolts, rails, slates, even a couple of frames, ball returns, ball boxes, ball counters and a phone number to someone not too far away from you with similar parts.....
