Ok, I know I can't be the only one who doesn't know all this stuff. So in order for them to save face, I'll be the one to speak out.....

SJM, you did a great job explaining the format, maybe you can help me out with this other stuff...

On the results & tables area of the WPC website, when you click on a group, a chart comes up with wins & losses along with some other things. The chart has the following on it "P W L RW RL PTS". Being the genius that I am, I've managed to figure out what "W, L, & PTS" stands for. What does P, RW, & RL stand for? Again, showing how smart I am(or possibly aren't), it looks as if you get two points for each win... what other factors are there in the points system?

Thanks for any all help!

P W L RW RL PTS
Played Won Lost "Racks Won" "Racks Lost" Points

The rack count will become essential if two or more players have the same number of points, then the player with more "Racks Won" will place higher. I can't remember if they'll also take "Racks Lost" into consideration, but theoretically they can also determine the placings with a one rack sudden death if a place in the L64 is at stake. I'm not sure about the sudden death, but that's how I remember it...

Hope this helps.

Mjantti, if the points are equal, its Racks Won, then Racks Lost, then the outcome of the match between the two.

The is no sudden death match.

Mjantti is correct. First they check the points, if equal, then the RW (Racks Won) who has the highest, if equal again, who has the least RL (Racks Lost) and if still equal, who won between them goes to the magic 64.
