Anybody out here find that you tend to really learn something when teaching a shot/technique to someone else? Sometimes I see things wrong with my game, and usually it helps me remember what works and what doesn't in regards to drills. Teaching someone else can be a valuable tool...
What I enjoy seeing most in pool, is when someone makes a great shot and gets excited about it. Beginners really love making bank shots. The surprised expression on a learning players face when the ball rockets off a rail and into the pocket exactly where you told them it would go... it's classic!
Speaking of bank shots, I'd also like to give my condolences to Freddy The Beard and his family and friends. I say we should all go out and show someone new how wonderful this game is. Do it for the love of the game, for the benefit of the newcomer, and especially for the sake of remembering a great pool legend who has influenced our sport in a fantastic way.
