I don't think I saw any threads about Terry Bell's passing. He along with Louie Roberts and Larry Hubbard started the Busch League now known as the APA. There has been controversy for years about Louie Roberts and how he lost or sold his share in the league but suffice it to say that the APA has become maybe the richest pool league in terms of revenue and participation. Larry and Terry took this league and developed it to what we see today. Sometime back we had a thread about the greatest pool hustler of all time. Well, IMO it's Terry. I played him in the early 70's and lost as he was a pretty fair player back in the day. My room in Ventura has APA leagues and when I'd visit LV during their National Championships i'd see Terry walking around dressed like a beach bum. No one knew who he was and i'd stop to talk with him revisiting our past match and old players we knew. I'm sure his business life has controversy but he was a major force in our sport.
