I was at this tourney, it was at Starchers in Akron Ohio. It was Clyde and Hubbard in the finals. The article in the billiard mag I read about it stated that Larry made a great 3 ball combo to win. If I remember right (and I do) it was hill hill and Larry tried to make a 2 ball combo and missed it so bad that he made a 3 ball combo. I forget if it was the 9 ball he slopped in or he ran out after the combo. Either way he lucky to beat Clyde.
