maybe we aren't masters or even contenders to be masters but we can sure have some have competitive tournaments. 25 teams played!!! If you know the Ox then you know the problem. Only 4 tables! The action was fierce , the waits interminable. The matches were total handicap minus 5
so they could run kinda long. Especially if the husband/ boyfriend
who was an 8 was coaching every move of their wife/ girlfriend who was a 4.

I arrived there at 12:30 and left at midnight with 6th place. It was survival of the fittest. I was still (amazingly) pretty sharp but my partner had succumbed a bit to the establishments intended product. I'm not knocking him, he held me up a buncha times during the evening.

We lost to a VERY tough team who probably would have beaten us anyway. I have no idea who won . I was outta there. Entry fee plus all side pots ran to $55.00 per team so were talking big bucks. They do spread it out to top 5 teams but first place had to be a big chunka cheese.

If your a lower ranked player and want some action you gotta try this tourney if you got big enough huevos.. It's what all your practice is about.:thud::thud:

Pool ain't dieing in AZ. If you think it is, your just to damned lazy to get outta your homeroom and find the action.
