I just wanted to thank a bunch of you who recommended some of Phil Capelles books to me. I thought I knew alot before but it just shows that in order to get better you need to be able to recieve info and use it with confidence that what the experts know may help. Anyway I would like to thank those who stay on refreshing topics and keep this site as a learning tool.

your welcome! i recomend phil more than anyone here. personaly, i feel all of his books, are not too good, except one, PLAY YOUR BEST POOL. that is to this day, the greatest book ever written on how to play pool. his others, especially A MIND FOR POOL, is a gigantic piece of shit! once you master how to play pool perfectly, i suggest you read about how to master the mental side of competing. read the end of play your best pool, the mental game, and also buy THE PLEASURES OF SMALL MOTIONS by dr. bob fanchier, great book on the mental side of the game, a mind for pool was dribble, rubbish.
