This is just a little note to thank Stan for the lessons I received last week and to let everyone know what a great instructor he is. Not very often in life do you get what you pay for but I feel that with Stan I got every pennies worth. I have been around the game for a long time and had lessons from some of the top players in the world never learning much of anything at all from them. I just wish that I had these lessons years ago I would have saved me a lot of time. Thanks again Mr. Shuffett and bring me some of the BBQ sauce if you come my way.------------David...

You here nothing but good things about Stan,i wish he would put
out a dvd on the stuff he teach,s. It would be great for the people
who cant get to him,but maybe what he teaches can only be taught
in person.Stan would be first on my list if i could get away to
see to a insructor and im sure alot of people feel the same way.
So consider yourself very lucky. Also welcome to the forum Lucky....

wonpocket...I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your lesson with Stan. You made a great point in that you learned more from him than many pros you had worked with.
There are many great players who may not be the best instructors.
There are many great instructors who may or may not be great players.

You found a great instructor in Stan, and the results speak for themselves.

The best advice for you now is to take what you learned from Stan and work on applying it to your game.

Best of luck in your continued improvement.

Steve

I went to Stan because of another teacher and great player, Stevie Moore. Stan is unique because, he was and is a good player himself, his chosen profession was and is teaching (I think 30 + years in KY, so he has trained and has experience teaching) but to me the best thing is that he really cares about the game and helping you to achieve excellence in this game.

If you knew how badly I played before going to see Stan and what his methods have done for me in a very short period of time...you would make time to go see him. Pro or Amatuer alike, Stan's methods will make you better, period.

I have been playing this game off and on for over 40 years and I have met alot of people in this game, Lassiter, Mosconi, Van Boening and I am glad to know and have met the Shuffett's. There are no finer people.

Thats very kind of you.

I visited Stan about 3 months ago, and haven't regretted it since. I signed up for the 2 day Foundation Course, specifically wanting to learn the Pro One aiming system. I had (and still have) a hard time with the aiming system, but everything else we went over was fantastic and well worth the money.

He's an excellent instructor. Even if you're not keen on aiming systems, I highly recommend him.
