Dick Jaspers won the 3-Cushion Challenge “Survivor” Tournament in Guri, Korea today. What he did to get to the top of the podium was incredible. The tournament has a unique format which has four men playing on the same table at the same time with a convoluted scoring system. I will cut to the chase.
In his 12 inning semi-final, Jaspers had two runs of 13 and a run of 7. His last five innings were 2-13-3-3-13.
In the 13 inning final, Jaspers ran a 10, 9 and an 8.
He “ran” away with the tournament.
Jaspers earned $50,000, bringing his yearly total to $175,000.
